SUNY Empire — New York State Education Department Title II Part A Partnership

The New York State Education Department (NYSED) and SUNY Empire State College have partnered to make Title II Part A funds available to non-public teachers and administrators who wish to pursue graduate-level education coursework for the purposes of professional development.

Eligible nonpublic teacher's assistants, teachers, and administrators may enroll in up to 12 credits of coursework that support the development of pedagogical skills, leadership ability, support for high quality academic standards, increased content knowledge, and delivery strategies in order to enhance the academic achievement and socioemotional development of students in nonpublic schools. To apply as a nondegree (nonmatriculated) student, please review the Title IIa Non-degree Instructions SU22 (file 32kB) and complete the nondegree application. To apply as a degree student, please visit our Graduate Admissions website.
