SUNY Empire SGA to Host Relationship Expert Love McPherson on February 5
The SUNY Empire Student Government Association will welcome Relationship Expert Love McPherson on Saturday, February 5 at 5 p.m.

The popular speaker and media personality has over two decades of experience counseling audiences on and off-screen. She is a recurring guest on the #1 news broadcast in Chicago, WGN TV, and has been featured on numerous media outlets, including NBC, FOX SOUL, People Magazine, and more.
Now, the author of Why Didn't They Tell Me?!: 5 Truths Everyone Should Know About Love will host the virtual group session "Self-Love and the V-Day Experience." The in-depth conversation with Love McPherson touches on the importance of loving yourself and why honoring a relationship with yourself is so important this Valentine’s Day.
“Self-Love is a prerequisite for a healthy relationship. When you lack self-love, you go into relationships expecting your mate to fill you up externally with the love you don’t already possess internally. That’s an impossible task for anyone. When you love yourself, you show up less anxious and needy. You realize that if your mate stops loving you, you’ll be just fine and that you will, never lack love because you love you”- Love McPherson
A night w/ Love McPherson: Self Love and the V-Day Experience is open to all students and faculty. Log on to SUNY Empire Connects on February 5 at 5 p.m.
