College locations are now safe and open. Verify your vaccination status for Spring 2022!
Meet with faculty and staff, use a computer lab, or take advantage of the free wifi. As we welcome you back, SUNY Empire values the health and safety of our students. With the FDA's full approval of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine, SUNY policy requires students attending in-person classes or receiving any in-person academic services and supports to be fully vaccinated. Students remaining fully remote or online will not need to submit proof of vaccination, but will need to agree to not access our locations in person. Students may also seek medical or religious exemptions. Virtual supports will remain.
If you wish to remain fully online or remote this spring, and have no plans visit our locations, you do not need to verify your vaccination status. You will need to agree to take online or remote courses only and use virtual student services only.
Even if you remain fully online, you may choose to verify you’ve received a COVID-19 vaccine. We encourage all students to do so. Proof of vaccination does not require that you take courses in person, but it will save you time if you wish to be onsite in the future.
All students are required to click on the option that best describes their Spring 2022 plans:
- I’m ready to verify my vaccination status now.
- I am/will be enrolled in onsite courses or plan to use onsite services in Spring 2022.
- I am/will be enrolled in online or remote courses only and will not use onsite services in Spring 2022.
- I’m seeking a medical or religious exemption for the SUNY COVID-19 vaccine requirement.
