Dear SUNY Empire State College Students,

The first week of March 2021 will kick off the first-ever Soar to Success Series on SUNY Empire Connects. This week of virtual events will give you opportunities to relieve stress, learn about and access school resources, engage in family fun activities, and career events.

Two exciting events we want to highlight for the Soar to Success Series are Cooking with David Bruno ‘19, Culinary Institute of America Chef and SUNY Empire Alum, and family fun children’s book read along with SUNY Empire Alum author, Tony Gaskin ‘17 . We have more than just these two great sessions planned, and as you review the SUNY Empire Connects website check out what might pique your interest. Beginning each description, we noted how this session will soar you to success in your time at SUNY Empire State College. Need stress relief? There is a session every day! Need more information on how to connect with student services? We have that, too! Need a family friendly activity to share with the family? We have something to meet your needs!
