SUNY Empire recently launched Ask Blue, chatbot software that helps students navigate our website with supportive videos and links that answer questions about the college 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Ask Blue can answer questions in English and Spanish.

Tips When Talking to Blue:

• Use Question Format
• When you phrase your inquiry as a question, she's more likely to identify what you need.
• Be Simple & Specific
• Ask one question at a time, keep it short, and use key words so she can provide relevant responses. Blue cannot provide account information.
• Take Advantage of Links and Suggestions
• Take the time to review the webpages, videos, and links she provides, as they should be able to answer your questions. This will save you time in the long run!
• If needed, Blue will provide a form to collect information to give our Student Information Center. A staff member will answer your inquiry by email. Be sure you enter your email address accurately.
