School for Graduate Studies Hosts Collaborative Economic Development Panel

Background: McMahon will moderate the discussion on positive experiences in collaborative economic development. The college’s School for Graduate Studies online M.A. in community and economic development was designed to provide advanced education for leaders in these fields. The New York State Economic Development Council approached Empire State College to host a panel exploring the impending transition in leadership in economic and community development as the leadership moves into retirement. McMahon and others helped to frame a curriculum that will support the development of the next generation of leaders.
