Introduction to Degree Planning

This workshop will focus on orienting students to the language, tools, and processes related to degree planning and the portfolio assessment process. Students will also learn more about DP Planner and PLA Planner.

Prior Learning Assessment 
Presenter: TBD

The workshop will focus on how to conceptualize and prepare written essays in support of requests to earn college-level credit for prior learning experiences outside of the formal classroom. Students will also explore possible prior learning topics and learn about the PLA interview process.

The Rationale Essay 
Presenter: TBD

This workshop will help demystify the rationale essay and the process of writing it. Students will learn what to include and what not to include in the essay, as well as tips for writing and organizing the essay.
