Virtual Meetings

The Saturday Residency courses use a blended model that combines online learning with three virtual meetings per term. The virtual meetings are mandatory and accessed through Microsoft Teams Saturday, Feb. 5, March 12 and April 9, 2022. Session D courses cover the 8-week term and only meet twice on Saturday, March 12 and April 9.

The virtual meeting schedule is broken down into three cores with an hour for lunch between the cores. Students are required to attend during their scheduled class time and may register for one course from each core.

Each course meets for 1 hour and 30 minutes. During class, students will meet virtually with their instructor and fellow classmates and work on projects and assignments.

During the lunch break from 12:30 p.m. - 1:30 p.m., students are encouraged to attend the "Lunch and Learn" sessions that offer a variety of professional and personal enrichment workshops and guest speaker presentations. This is an excellent opportunity for students to network and learn practical skills and knowledge to apply to the workplace and everyday life.

Microsoft Teams Virtual Meetings

The three Saturday meetings take place virtually using Microsoft Teams. The platform is similar to Zoom or Skype and is user friendly. Students can access the meetings through a computer, laptop, or phone. Use the Technology checklist for Microsoft Teams to download Teams to a preferred device and make a test call before class. Visit the Educational Technology website to participate in a webinar, access previous recordings, or request technical assistance.
