Tirana, Albania Program

Established in 2002, the Empire State College program in Tirana, Albania offers students onsite, classroom-based learning in cooperation with the University of New York , Tirana. Through this innovative and flexible approach to international education, students living in Albania earn fully accredited, American degrees. Students typically study at the University of New York, Tirana, for two years before transferring to the Empire State College program to complete their bachelor's degrees. Empire State College faculty travel to Tirana three times per year to engage students in face-to-face degree planning and academic review. Currently, approximately 140 students are enrolled in the Tirana program.
