MAT in Special Education Combined Program Certification Requirements

To meet state education department requirements, teacher candidates must possess 24 credits in the Liberal Arts and Sciences distribution.

Undergraduate courses with a grade below C and graduate courses with a grade below B are not acceptable toward review.

General Education Requirements for New York State Certification

Teacher candidates must have completed 30 semester hours of general education coursework. The Written Analysis/Expression category must be fulfilled with a course outcome of B or higher.
