Supporting Materials
In addition to the learning description, students typically include supporting materials to provide context to, verification of, and/or examples of their learning.
Supporting materials are usually attached to the request in PLA Planner using the "Supporting Materials" tab. In some cases, the student provides supporting materials outside of PLA Planner.
Requesting Supporting Materials
Evaluators may request additional supporting materials at any time during the evaluation. Materials that are not directly related to the student’s learning should not be requested.
The evaluator is to assess prior learning and should not ask the student to complete additional assignments (e.g., readings) in which the student would gain new learning.
If you have any questions about supporting materials, contact your center office of academic review.
