SUNY Empire Esports

SUNY Empire State College is proud to offer a collegiate esports program open to all students!

We offer tournament and league play in SUNY Esports and the Eastern Collegiate Athletics Conference (ECAC). Our teams currently compete in:

Our esports program began with participation in the 2020 SUNY Chancellor's Esports Challenge, with 10 teams representing SUNY Empire. In 2021, we became members of the ECAC esports conference, which includes more than 90 colleges. We hope to expand the number of titles we play in, as well as improve our placement in future competitions!

We also encourage casual, non-competitive play between students. Our Discord server facilitates both casual and competitive activities. SUNY Empire Esports athletes come from across New York state and represent all ages and academic disciplines.

You do not have to be a hardcore gamer to join one of our teams. All levels of play are welcome!
