Acting Vice Provost for Student Success Seana Logsdon
Seana Logsdon, M.S. is the Acting Vice Provost for Student Success, leading Academic Support, Accessibility and Resources, Basic Needs, Career Services, Opportunity Programs, Registrar’s Office, Student Life, Student Success Development, and Student Success Initiatives. Ms. Logsdon has over thirty years of experience in higher education and has led numerous student success areas, with a special emphasis on academic success. Prior to joining SUNY Empire, she was a full-time faculty member and department chair at another institution. She has been with SUNY Empire since 2007 and holds concurrent rank as Instructor. Her presentation and publication focus is on leveraging partnerships between traditional academic areas and student support to create seamless support for the adult student. She holds an M.S in Student Personnel Administration from SUNY Buffalo State College and a B.A. in Psychology from SUNY Geneseo, and is a 2018 recipient of the SUNY Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Professional Service.
