Onsite Tutoring

Free tutoring and academic coaching are available at regional locations across the state of New York for both undergraduate and graduate students, as well as students in our School of Nursing and Labor Studies Center. Please click on the links below for information about how to connect with a learning coach or tutor.

Support at a Distance: If you cannot make it to a location in New York State that offers onsite tutoring, you can get support at a distance via TutorMe, the online tutoring service (see below) or with one of our own academic support staff via phone or MSTeams (available to you through your Microsoft 365 package). Please email Academic.Support@esc.edu to set up a remote appointment with a college academic support staff member.

In addition, to the online tutoring provided by SUNY Empire State College Learning Coaches, the College provides an additional free, live, online tutoring service via TutorMe.

Peer Tutoring for Online Learning Courses

Undergraduate students who are enrolled in online courses may sign up for peer tutoring using the form below. Trained peer tutors can be assigned in different content areas to work with students at a distance and onsite as available. They can also assist with time management, organization and general study skills. Please call 800-847-3000 ext. 3008 or email academic.support@esc.edu.
