Driving Directions for the College's Administrative Offices

The driving directions below are for our administrative offices at our coordinating center in Saratoga Springs, N.Y. Driving directions for our programs and locations around New York state are also available.

Directions to 1, 2, 3 and 28 Union Avenue

NOTE: The Center for International Education is at 111 West Avenue. Alumni House is at 28 Union Avenue.

From the west via Route 67

  1. Take the Thruway (I-90) east to Amsterdam exit, Number 27.
  2. As you come through exit, turn right and head into town. You will cross the Barge (Erie) Canal.
  3. Follow the signs for Route 67 east, out of Amsterdam.
  4. Continue on Route 67 into Ballston Spa and make a left onto Route 50. This will take you through the downtown area of Ballston Spa.
  5. Continue on Route 50, past Saratoga Performing Arts Center (on your right), into Saratoga Springs to the intersection of Route 50 and South Broadway (Route 9). Go straight through the intersection, with Holiday Inn on your left and a Stewarts Shop on your right.
  6. Just past the Stewarts Shop is a stop sign. Bear left. This is Circular Street. Congress Park is below on the left.
  7. The next light is Union Avenue (9P). 1 Union is the first, and 3 Union is the second building on your left as you turn right onto Union Avenue. 2 Union is the first building on your right as your turn right onto Union Avenue, and 28 Union is the second building on your right, just past Regent Street.

From the west via Route 29

  1. As you come into Saratoga Springs from the west on Route 29, the main post office will be on your left.
  2. Continue straight through the intersection just past the post office. Route 29 becomes Washington Street as it enters the City of Saratoga Springs.
  3. Continue on Washington Street until it ends at Broadway. Starbucks is on the left corner of Broadway and Washington.
  4. Make a right onto Broadway and a very quick left at the next light onto Spring Street.
  5. Continue up Spring Street (Congress Park will be on your right) up to the first light.
  6. At the light, make a right onto Circular Street. Congress Park will continue to be on your right.
  7. Take a left at the first light onto Union Avenue (Route 9P). 1 Union is the first, and 3 Union is the second building on your left as you turn left onto Union Avenue. 2 Union is the first building on your right as you turn right onto Union Avenue, and 28 Union is the second building on your right, just past Regent Street.

From the north, east or south via I-87 (the Northway)

  1. Take I-87, the Northway, to Exit 14.
  2. Off Exit 14, take a right and head into Saratoga Springs (Union Avenue).
  3. Take Union Avenue to the end. You will pass the Saratoga Race Course on your left.
  4. Union Avenue ends at Circular Street. (Congress Park is straight ahead.) 1 Union is the last and 3 Union is the second from the last building on your right as you near the end of Union Avenue. 2 Union is the last building on the left as you near the end of Union Avenue, while 28 Union is the second building on the left, just before Regent Street and a block from the corner of Union Avenue and Circular Street.

Directions to 111 and 113 West Avenue

From the south via Route 50

  1. Head north on Route 50 past the Saratoga Performing Arts Center main entrance.
  2. Continue through the next intersection, which is Geyser Road on your left and an entrance to the Spa State Park on your right.
  3. Get into the far left lane and take your first left onto West Avenue.
  4. Continue on West Avenue past Saratoga Springs High School, through two traffic lights (West Circular and Grand Avenue).
  5. The college will be in the shopping plaza on your left, just before the intersection of West Avenue and Washington Street.

From the north via Route 50

  1. Take Rte. 50 into Saratoga Springs, past the Prime Hotel. This is also Broadway.
  2. At your second light, take a right onto Church Street.
  3. Continue on Church Street through two traffic lights (Saratoga Hospital and the Saratoga Golf and Polo Club on your right).
  4. Take a left at the third light, which is the intersection of Church Street (Rte. 9N) and West Avenue.
  5. Continue through the next light at the intersection of West Avenue and Washington Street.
  6. The main entrance to the plaza and 111 West will be immediately on your right, just past a branch of Saratoga National Bank.

From the west via Route 29

  1. As you come into Saratoga Springs from the west on Route 29, the main post office will be on your left.
  2. At the intersection just past the post office, take a right onto West Avenue.
  3. The main entrance to the plaza and 111 West will be immediately on your right just past a branch of Saratoga National Bank.

From the east via Route 29

  1. Take Route 29 into Saratoga Springs, where it becomes Lake Avenue.
  2. Continue straight across Broadway, where the road becomes Church Street.
  3. Continue on Church Street through two traffic lights (you will pass Saratoga Hospital and the Saratoga Golf and Polo club on your right).
  4. Make a left at the third light, which is the intersection of Church Street (Rte. 9N) and West Avenue.
  5. Continue through the next light at the intersection of West Avenue and Washington Street.
  6. The main entrance to the plaza and 111 West will be immediately on your right, just past a branch of Saratoga National Bank.

From the north or south via I-87 (the Northway)

  1. Take Exit 14 (Union Avenue) into Saratoga Springs, past the Saratoga Race Course.
  2. At the end of Union Avenue, make a right onto Circular Street. Congress Park will be on your left.
  3. At the next light, make a left onto Spring Street. Congress Park will continue to be on your left.
  4. Continue up Spring Street, to the next light at Broadway, getting in the right lane as you approach the light.
  5. Take a right onto Broadway and a very quick left at the next light onto Washington Street. Starbucks is on the corner of Broadway and Washington Street.
  6. Continue on Washington Street through two lights.
  7. At the third light, take a left onto West Avenue.
  8. The main entrance to the plaza and 111 West will be immediately on your right, just past a branch of Saratoga National Bank.
