Schenectady Directions

Empire State College is located on the corner of Broadway and Hamilton Street in Schenectady.

I-90 (Thruway) | Scotia/Glenville | Colonie | Parking | Public Transportation

From Interstate 90 (Thruway)

  • Take exit 25 (Schenectady/I-890/Route 5/Route 5 S) onto Interstate 890.
  • Take I-890 to exit 4C (Route 5/ Scotia).
  • At the traffic light turn right onto State Street.
  • Turn right onto Broadway.  There is a Bow Tie Cinemas on the corner.
  • The office is located on the left at 245 Broadway.

From Scotia/Glenville

  • Take Route 5 (Mohawk Avenue) east towards Schenectady. Route 5 becomes State Street after you cross the Mohawk River into Schenectady.
  • Turn right onto Broadway. There is a Bow Tie Cinemas on the corner.
  • The office is located on the left at 245 Broadway.

From Colonie

  • Take Route 5 (Central Avenue) west towards Schenectady. Route 5 becomes State Street in Schenectady.
  • Turn left onto Broadway (just past Proctor's). There is a Bow Tie Cinemas on the corner.
  • The office is located on the left at 245 Broadway.

Parking

  • There is metered parking on State Street.
  • Parking is also available in the parking garage located on Broadway.

Public Transportation

  • There is a bus stop near Broadway on State Street. Several bus routes run in Schenectady.
