Using Content From Another Site
There may be times when you want to use content from a site you don't maintain. Examples include directions to a college location, or a frequently asked question that is as relevant to your site's users as it is to the other site's users.
The Recommended Way: Link to the Content
Whenever possible, just link to the content in the other site. If you believe that approach will not meet your needs, contact the Office of Communications and Marketing or Information Technology Services to discuss other options.
The Obvious Way May Not Be the Best Way
It can be tempting to copy and paste content you want to use from another site. There is a major drawback with that approach: once you copy content into your site, you must maintain it. That includes having to monitor the other site for updates to the content you copied and then updating your version as needed.
