Athens, Greece Program

The Empire State College program in Athens, Greece was established in 1992 in cooperation with the State University of New York at New Paltz. This classroom-based program serves students living in Athens who want to earn a degree from an American university. Most program participants are students of the host institution, New York College in Athens, who have completed two years of college course work. The program is also open to adults whose work experience qualifies them for university-level credits toward their degree requirements.Local faculty in Greece provide instruction in this program, which currently serves 100 students in two academic terms and a summer session.
