The Department of Health and Human Services covers different aspects of service provision, knowledge and skills in working with clients, communities, organizations and agencies.

Health Services examines today’s health care, including administration, leadership, knowledge and skills in working with hospitals, clinics, agencies, communities and their clients to cure disease, maintain health and deliver critical services. Health service workers improve community and individual wellness throughout the human lifespan.

Please note: This degree does NOT qualify students for national or state professional licensure as a nurse, doctor, dietitian or other allied health care provider.

Nondegree Students

Taking individual courses as a nondegree student is also possible and will offer you the same range and depth of courses and rigorous standards as matriculated undergraduate students. Even if you’re not pursuing a degree, you can take courses to prepare for college-level study, stay current in your field or improve your job skills.
