Combined Bachelor's/Master's Degree Pathways – SUNY Cobleskill
Enrollment in a combined pathway allows highly qualified, current SUNY Cobleskill students to work on a master's degree while completing their bachelor’s degree. Up to 12 credits of designated graduate courses are incorporated into the undergraduate degree program and will count toward both the bachelor’s degree and the master’s degree.
Program Requirements
SUNY Cobleskill students will be able to apply for a combined pathway program once they have:
- completed 60-credits of undergraduate coursework
- completed any required prerequisite courses with a B or better
- earned a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or above at the time of application to the program
Six Accelerated Pathways
- Bachelor of Business Administration to Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Management
- Bachelor of Business Administration Financial Services to Master of Science (MS) in Finance
- Bachelor of Technology in Information Technology to Master of Science (MS) in Information Technology
- Bachelor of Science in Applied Psychology to Master of Arts (MA) in Work and Labor Policy
- Bachelor of Science in Applied Psychology to Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Management with a concentration in Human Resources
- Bachelor of Science in Applied Psychology to Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) in Adolescent Special Education
Prerequisite Courses
1. MBA in Business Management: Undergraduate level courses in: statistics (3 credits), macroeconomics (3 credits), microeconomics (3 credits), and accounting (3 credits).
2. MBA in Business Management - Human Resource Management: Undergraduate level courses in: statistics (3 credits), macroeconomics (3 credits), microeconomics (3 credits), and accounting (3 credits).
3. M.S. in Finance: Undergraduate level courses in: statistics (3 credits), and financial accounting (3 credits).
4. M.S. Information Technology: Foundational knowledge in computer programming and computer networks.
5. M.A. in Work and Labor Policy: No additional prerequisite courses.
6. M.A.T. in Adolescent Special Education: 24 credits in Liberal Arts and Sciences and 30 credits in General Education requirements for New York State Certification.
Combined Pathway Admission
Admission into a combined pathway is highly selective. SUNY Cobleskill undergraduate students apply and complete the application to the master's degree through the School for Graduate Studies online.
The following application requirements are waived: application fee (contact gradpartners@esc.edu for waiver code), the application essay, two recommendations.

Students accepted to a combined program will include the following 4 courses (12 credits) in their approved undergraduate degree plans. Special requests to substitute these courses will be considered by the program chairs in consultation with the student's SUNY Cobleskill advisor.
