FAFSA Section
- FSA ID: The first step in the application process for federal student aid is to apply for a FSA ID. A FSA ID is a username and password that you must use to log in to certain U.S. Department of Education (ED) websites. Your FSA ID identifies you as someone who has the right to access your own personal information.
- FAFSA: Link to the federal Department of Education's online application (Empire State College federal code = 010286) and complete the appropriate FAFSA.
- Complete the 2022-2023 FAFSA for enrollments that begin May 2022 through March 2023. For enrollments that began prior to April 2022, make sure to have completed the 2021-2022 FAFSA.
