As in institution of higher education, SUNY Empire State College is subject to laws, regulation and policies stemming from federal, state, SUNY sources as well as contractual agreements and accreditation standards. The office of Administration sets a tone of compliance and has a structured compliance program that works closely with programs in internal controls and enterprise risk management.
